Background
Transactional
Analysis approach is an approach that can be used in individual or group
settings . This approach differs from most therapeutic approaches , both in
terms of contractual and decision-making. This approach focuses on
decision-making in the initial counselee counselees and emphasizes the capacity
to make new decisions and change the direction of his life ( Corey , 1986 ,
p.149 in Gantina Komalasari , 2011, p . 89 )
Transactional
Analysis Approach consists of two words , a meaningful analysis of testing
something in detail to better understand or that dapatmenarik conclusions from
these test results , whereas transactional or transaction is a principal unit
of a social relationship . Thus transactional analysis is a method used to
study the interaction between individuals and reciprocal influence that is a
picture of a person's personality .
B. Views On Human
according to Transactional Analysis Approach
Transactional
analysis is rooted in the philosophy aniderministik . This philosophy puts faith
in the capacity of individuals to improve the habits and choose btujuan and new
behavior . This approach saw individuals affected by expectations and demands
of the people who are significant to him , especially in decision-making in
times where people are still dependent on others . However, the initial
decision no longer allow them to make a new decision ( Thompson et al , 2004 ,
p.266 : Corey , 1986 , p . 150-151 ) . Quoted from ( Gantina Komalasari 2011,
p.92 )
